Why would an intelligent person who is doing well academically, quit school?
"Now I have the luxury of really understanding.  If I don't understand I have the luxury of going back and rereading it, to really think about it, to grapple with it.  In school, I didn't have time to do that because I had to get the paper in by Monday.  The desire to understand was a liability in school.  I wanted to go back and really 'get it'.  Now if I'm interested in something, I can read the whole bibliography."  T.R.
